Cleaning is carried out in two stages:
1) The roof is washed using our low pressure jet wash which removes visible dirt lichen and moss. The roof is then rinsed of all debris before the next step.
2) The second stage is the application of a premium inhibitor (residual cleaning properties)at the correct dilution rate according to the manufactures instructions killing any residual spores. The
application of the inhibitor is essential as it will slow the regrowth of moss lichen etc a reasonable expectation is that the roof surface will be biofilm free for 18-36 months before a second
treatment is required.
SCRAPE ROOF CLEANING
This system can take up to 1 year to fully clean the roof but results should be seen within a few months. We use a professional concentrated
cleaner for removing natural growth such as moss spores algae or mould from roof tile surfaces.
Does not require rinsing.
Treats roof tile surface with no risk of staining and damage
Contains no acids or bleach
Can also have some residual benefits.

I have used Cotec twice now over the past 6 years and cannot recommend
them highly enough. They undertake the work to a very high standard and
the clean up operation was exceptional. Sam even came back at a later date
with a replacement tile that he had discovered to repair a slightly cracked
one in my roof. There are a number of companies advertising similar
services but I would be surprised if anyone can match this standard. All work
completed as per the Statement of Work, on time and at the agreed price. I
will certainly be using them again in two years time when the roof needs
cleaning.
